The influence of books akin to Quick Food Nation (Schlosser, 2012) and documentaries resembling Tremendous Size Me have created mainstream consciousness about what goes into our food and our our bodies. As many developed nations, including Canada, battle with health-care issues together with hypertension, diabetes, and weight problems, food operators are taking observe and creating new health-conscious menus.
